Hey, I’m Charlie — a private chef from the UK, now based full-time in Thailand.
I’ve been in kitchens since I was 13, starting out as a KP and working my way up through the ranks. After finishing my NVQ training, I started my own catering company at 21, cooking for weddings, events, and as a freelance chef around the UK.
In 2022, I took things offshore and began working as a chef on superyachts — an incredible experience that’s taken me all over the world and given me the chance to cook for celebrities, footballers, and some seriously high-profile guests. It taught me a lot about being adaptable, creative, and calm under pressure.
These days, I’m based in Thailand, where I offer private chef services for yachts, villas, dinner parties, and events. I also still take on jobs in the UK when needed — I’m always happy to travel for the right opportunity.
My cooking style is inspired by Asian flavours with a modern twist. I like to keep things simple, letting the ingredients shine — especially the fresh produce I find in Thai markets. Whether it’s a relaxed beach barbecue or a seven-course dinner on a yacht, I always aim to make the food memorable, not just fancy.
When I’m not in the kitchen, I’m usually near (or in) the ocean. I’m a certified dive master and love fishing, spearfishing, and anything that gets me underwater.
